Why The Curiosity Fund Exists
The Curiosity Fund is where the explore4knowledge story began.
Founded in 2011 as a non-profit organisation, our mission has always been to use exploration as a catalyst for education, conservation, scientific discovery and community opportunity.
As explore4knowledge has grown into an international expedition and programme delivery organisation, that purpose has remained at the heart of what we do.
Over the past fifteen years, we have worked alongside schools, communities, conservation organisations, scientists, NGOs and responsible businesses to turn curiosity into practical action.
Sometimes that means introducing a young person to science.
Sometimes it means supporting freshwater conservation, community outreach or field research.
Sometimes it means bringing people, organisations and resources together around a challenge none could solve alone.
Because we believe exploration should leave something meaningful behind.
