Ever since he can remember he has had a passion for the great outdoors. Whether it was the first night he spent in a tent as a boy with his father, the conservation club at school or that first hike he ever did which took him to the Drakensberg, at the age of 7 the decision was made to pursue a outdoor based life style and the career path in Conservation.
During his schooling career John followed his passion by taking part in school trips exploring the Northern Regions of South Africa, as well as taking every opportunity which came his way through the South African Scouting Association. In moving down to Cape Town, he was exposed to a new field of conservation and exploration. From the big 5 country side of the Kruger National Park it was a adjustment to find fynbos and ocean the substitute for the lowveld. Though it did not take long before the rugged west coast with its desolate beaches and the cederberg mountain range with its stunning rock formations became his home.

Talita has been able to share with us not only from the perspective of her love for travel but also within a professional context, coming along on educational camps, talks and expeditions constantly evaluating the speakers presentations and so ensuring that Explore4Knowledge is adequately addressing its audience.
Despite having a passion for children, teaching and the outdoors Talita’s first love is music. With a passion for music since 7 years old, Talita has performed in various orchestra’s, ensembles and music competitions both locally and internationally. Alongside her passion for music she studied teaching and has been able to combine her skills to the betterment of others. Whilst growing up she realised that many children did not have the same musical opportunities or exposure to classical music as she did and is now running music programs within the Early Childhood sector.
Since 2008 Explore4Knowledge has been able to have Talita work alongside us in an advisory and planning capacity with regards to educational programmes, planning and the shaping of what you see before yourselves today.
